TS4- Ambrosia Challenge: The Slow Decline

Chapter 10

Chapter 11
Chapter notes:
Instead of putting a caption on each picture, I figured I would explain what’s going on here-

Edric has dedicated his entire life to everyone else.  He’s been the perfect son, the perfect student, the perfect friend.  Then as he aged he tried to be the perfect husband, father, and employee.  All the while rarely sleeping and tirelessly working on unlocking the secrets of the ingredients to the ambrosia that grim told him about.

I did my best with just photos to portray the slow decline of his health and personal life.  I did not make him that thin for the pictures, he really is that thin.  He has to work out for his job every day and he just keeps dropping all his weight.

Everyone is worried about Edric.  Especially Lia and Amira.  Lia is also angry because he is never in the bed with her at night, she knows that he needs to sleep for his health, more than just naps here and there.  This is the first time since Amira met Edric that she’s been sad.  She feels responsible even though she didn’t ask him to bring her back to life that it’s partly his obsession with doing so that’s causing him all these problems.

Elijah and Alyssa have been trying to have a baby and haven’t been able to get pregnant.

Oh, and on the non-story side of things, Edric has completed his Nerd Brain aspiration and is almost level 10 in gardening.

  1. I love the wordless post. I could def tell he was working too hard and hat somethings gotta break. I hope he figures out a way yo balance his life again. I feel it's a mentality a lot of “wonder kids” get stuck in. Their entire childhood is all about the rush of skilling and it's just not sustainable in the long run.

  2. I loved the chapter! The pictures told the story so well that words weren’t needed! I hope Edric will remember to take care of himself a little bit more in the future, though. That level of commitment to others is admirable, but also not very healthy in the long run.
