TS4- Drifter II 002.6: Got My Way

House 002 Chapter 6

This is pretty much the theme of this whole chapter.  I’m not bothering with captions for the first several.

She was hungry and tired and Pepper kept putting her in the highchair to eat and Lucas kept taking her up to bed!

Fern’s uncles Wolfgang and Sage are here for her teen birthday.

Blow out those candles so we can see you!

That hair looks horrible.  Actually almost every hairstyle looked odd on her.  It took me forever to find one I liked.

Isn’t she sooooo pretty!?!

I thought this was pretty cool.  Pepper’s the only one not hanging out.

I made Fern a caretaker for Ivy.  She’s been checking on her a lot just in this first day so I think she’ll be a big help.

Awe she had to come outside to see what everyone was up to.

She was a good big sister when she was younger and it seems like she’s going to be even better as a teen.

Hmm what does this do?  Meanwhile Lucas makes yet another wood carving.  He’s level 9 now and makes at least a few hundred dollars worth of carvings a day!

Chapter 002.7

Chapter notes:

I’m not sure what I’ve done house-wise since the last chapter.  Apparently I didn’t take any updated pics.  It was funny I thought she paid the bills and I spent the money on the house and their electric got turned off.  She had to run around gathering collectables to turn it back on!  The house value is now $35,783 and Fern has 13 days until aging to young adult. Ivy has 3 more days until she ages to child and I’ll breathe a sigh of relief.  Uncontrollable toddlers take up so much time! If it wasn’t for the dragonfruit I would have had to scurry to finish the house after she aged to child!  From hearing others experiences with the uncontrollable toddlers I think it’s the fussy trait that made it so difficult.

  1. Fern did turn out real pretty! I have a chapter pretty much dedicated to one toddler too lol. Ivy is funny at the end 🙂 And it’s not just the fussy trait that makes them hard lol. Mine has the angelic trait!! And she’s still a pain 😉

        1. The second toddler in my whim challenge had the angelic trait. He was really easy to manage. The first had independent and she seemed really easy too… but I could control both of them.

  2. Fern is very lovely, Ivy is just to cute!! Looks like you had a lot of fun with that one. LOL I for one love the independent trait. That’s what mine got in House 002 and I love it. I haven’t played with all the traits much but I’m sure I’ll get there. Another great chapter Rainy 🙂

  3. I love all the toddler pictures of Ivy. She is so cute. I can’t wait to get a toddler in my own game to play with. Fern grew into a lovely young lady and she is the perfect big sister.

    1. Having toddlers really makes you much more attached to the kids… even the ones who aren’t heir. Fern was a great big sister.

  4. Is it bad to say, despite toddlers making drifting harder (especially fussy ones) .. that they’re just the cutest little things?! I am SO happy the gurus finally brought toddlers back! (My daughter, also a simmer, is NOT happy to have them back, though… lol so it’s kinda funny that I’m so happy to have them!)

    1. So far I’ve had 3 toddlers drifting and each time the experience has been very different. I adore them though and totally agree with you. Your daughter can always bake a cake and age them up to skip the toddler stage.

      1. That’s true.. I’ll definitely suggest that to her! In sims 3, she avoided pregnancy and toddlers by making me do it.. lol.. she’s older now (and pregnant sims are easier to deal with imo) so I make her deal with her own issues. 🙂

  5. I love love love your photos up at the top of this chapter. They tell a story of family and siblings all on their own, no words were needed. Fern and Ivy have an awesome relationship I think. You’ve got this challenge in the bag!
