TS4- Drifter Challenge 001.1: Brock Rover

Chapter 1

Meet Brock Rover.  Painter extraordinaire, creative, loves the outdoors and a bit of a geek.  He’s a drifter.  Looking to make a life for himself in this barren landscape and hopefully find someone to share that life with.

I have to say out of all of the sims that I’ve played over the years Brock is one of the happiest and most photogenic.  I have a bit of a crush on him so a lot of the screenies will just be me fangirling over him.

Since he’s a geek he really enjoys finding collectables.

I did download the empty neighborhood so I have Vi and Less than Zero in my game.  One thing I did do that the rules say not to was delete all of the households from Windenburg.  I’m confused by that rule.  I always delete the pre-made sims and I just get the hidden maxis clubs like the cosplay club.

I got Brock a bush to “fertilize” because having a toilet just sitting in the corner of the lot seems odd when we have this option.  The only reason I could think of that nobody seems to do it is that it might be cheaty since you can sleep in the bush but yuck he’s not sleeping in that stinky thing!

He’s really excited about those hotdogs!

He spends the first few nights on the bench by his lot.  Notice the bush?  Yuck no napping in there!

Ah the great outdoors.  Grilling some fruit and enjoying nature.

Well hello Vi want to me my friend?  Meh, she ends up walking away shortly after I took the shot.

Boy really needs a shower!

He starts a small garden with the plants that are either profitable or good for cooking with.

Finally a shower!

This little boy is Jensen.  He entertained Brock for a bit.  What a cutie!

I’m not exactly sure who Christina is but she came with the neighborhood.  She’s the blonde.  The black haired girl turns out to be an alien.  Brock was really proud of himself for figuring it out.

This is my first post written in WordPress.  Everything that I’ve published since I moved from Blogger was imported from Blogger.  I have to say I’m a bit confused about some things… like the spacing.  But I’ll figure it out eventually.  So if this turns out looking awful bear with me.  I’ll go back and edit it once I figure things out.

I’ve been pretty obsessed with The Drifter Challenge since I first started seeing it on Twitter.  I’ve watched some YouTube videos and have read the rules for house 0001 like 20 times.  I was going to put off starting the challenge but changed my mind.  If I’m doing something wrong by all means let me know.  This chapter is somewhere around the first 3 days and I’ve already played out the next 3 days as well so any tips might be a bit late.
